Choose: I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I wat to connect through a local area network. (LAN) Hit Next 5.) Setting up your connection a.) How do you connect to the Internet? Choose: I connect through a phone line and a modem Hit Next 6.) Step 1 of 3: Internet account connection information a.) Telephone number: Enter the Dial-up number here (Example: 277-2428) b.) Uncheck the box next to: Dial using the area code and country code Hit Next 7.)Step 2 of 3: Internet account logon information a.) User name: Enter your User Name here. (Example: johndoe) b.) Password: Enter your Password here. (Example: 1234) Hit Next 8.) Step 3 of 3: Configuring your computer a.) Connection name: Enter the Connection Name here. (Example: Carolina Internet) Hit Next 9.) Set UP Your Internet Mail Account a.) Do you want to setup an Internet mail account now? Choose Yes Hit Next 10.) Your Name a.) Display name: Enter your name here (Example: John Doe) Hit Next 11.) Internet E-mail Address a.) E-mail address: Enter your emial address. (Example: johndoe@cchat.com) Hit Next 12.) E-mail Server Names a.) My incominf mailserver is a (POP3) server. b.) Incoming mail (POP3) server: mail.cchat.com c.) Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.cchat.com Hit Next 13.) Internet Mail Logon a.) Account name: Enter your User Name here. (Example: johndoe) b.) Password: Enter your Password here. (Example: 1234) Hit Next 14.) Completing the Internet Connection Wizard a.) Click Finish and Connect.
